Recruitment
At Ahlford employees are by far the most central, important resources. It is important to the law firm that it fulfils the requirements of an attractive employer. At Ahlford we are keen to maintain a good team, both in our various workgroups and in the company as a whole.
It takes more than legal expertise for Ahlford to work, and we have many skilled employees who take care of our administration - all of whom are a significant part of our success. It is very important for us to fill all functions with accomplished employees. The administrative function includes, for example, finance, office service, marketing and reception/switchboard.
Expression of interest
We are constantly looking to make contact with skilled, creative people who can contribute towards making us even better, and even when we are not actively seeking to fill positions, you are always welcome to send in an expression of interest with a CV and covering letter describing in which area you would like to work for us. Please send such an enquiry/application to our Recruitment Officer.
Specialist areas
Ahlford's main emphasis is general commercial law and bankruptcy and insolvency law, although we also supplement this by offering leading expertise in many other fields of law.
Within Ahlford there has always been scope for individual solutions, which is why employees and the offices have developed differently according to the demands in each market.
More than a traditional law firm
We no longer view ourselves as a traditional law firm, but as a modern consultancy firm. We do, however, still maintain the same high standards and quality requirements as before. We often work in teams so that we can offer what our clients want quickly, so it is important that you find teamwork stimulating. Cohesion within Ahlford is valued highly, so it is important to us that you are happy and are a resource, both professionally and socially.

We also employ both newly qualified law graduates and applicants with district court service or other career experience. It is an advantage if you have experience of studying abroad or another university qualification in addition to your law degree. It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of other languages. Other important qualities are life experience, integrity, modesty, ambition and humility. That our employees stay healthy is a high priority for us, and we subsidize our employees' exercise at gyms or other fitness centres.
